Present Day — Portland's Living Legacy

Today, Rich's Cigar Store is Portland's longest continuously operating retailer and one of the most respected tobacconists in the American West. The Moran family — who have owned and operated Rich's since purchasing Rich’s from Jesse Rich in 1974 — continues to run both locations with their sons, carrying forward a family tradition that now spans two family lineages and over 130 years.

The downtown headquarters at 820 SW Alder Street features a 30-seat indoor smoking lounge and Oregon's largest walk-in selection of premium cigars. The Pearl District location at 922 NW Flanders Street offers a curated selection in one of Portland's most vibrant neighborhoods. Rich's holds the distinction of being Oregon's only Davidoff Appointed Merchant and TAA (Tobacconist Association of America) member retailer.

Our Chief Tobacconist, who joined the team in 1996, continues to hand-blend Rich's signature pipe tobaccos — recipes developed over 30 years that draw pipe smokers from across the country.
